what’s growing in our garden

A few of us here at the International Welfare Development Faculty are growing vegetables in a little garden of our own, just near the campus.

We’ve been growing organic tomatoes, egg plants, cucumbers, green peppers, Japanese radishes (daikon), pumpkins, eda-mame, corn and watermelon.

It’s a lot of work but we are managing to keep the garden tidy by going when we can before or in-between classes.

And it’s a lot of fun trying out different ideas since we are all novices and everything is new to us.
